Kylie's Demo training Blog Hop - August 2020

Welcome back!  I'm so excited today, not only did I get my Stampin'UP!® delivery, I am also joining this month's Kylie's Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop!

We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or coming from another blog-either way you can find a link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

At the moment with the lock down here in Victoria Australia, I'm really into cards that can be sent to brighten up someone's day. So today's card is a happy card to let them know they are loved.

What I used:

Stamps/Dies

Celebrate sunflowers stamp and die bundle

Cardstock

Bumble Bee Card standard base 14.9cm x 10.5cm or 5 1/4" x 4"

Whisper White card stock layer x 2 14.4cm x 10cm  or 5" x 3 3/4

Scrap of Bumble Bee big enough to cut out the large sunflower die and for the sentiment

Ink

Versamark Ink

Adhesives

Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Dimensionals

Other

Water painter to create speckles

White embossing powder

Tasteful textiles embossing folder

Enamel dots in Bumble Bee

Firstly I used inked up an acrylic block and used my water painter to flick some speckles onto my whisper white card layer. Given the clean look of this card, I wanted to add texture so I ran it through my big shot with Stampin' Up!® Tasteful textiles embossing folder.

With my scrap piece of bumble bee card stock, I die cut out the large Sunflower. Seriously this has become one of my new favorite dies. I then used versamark ink to stamp my sentiment "know that you are loved" from the Stampin' Up!® Celebrate Sunflowers set. And used my heat tool to set the white embossing powder.

I used dimensionals to pop up my sunflower and liquid glue to adhere the sentiment to my card. Lastly I embellished with Bumble Bee enamel dots.

Quick and fun card to make. Hope whoever I send this card to will enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Thank you for your time, and please check out all the talented Stampin' Up!® demonstrators.
