The theme for the hop is  THANK YOU

So being newish to card making, I have only recently discovered easel cards, so that is what we are making today.

You can watch how I made it on my youtube channel by clicking below image

What I used:

Stamps/Dies:

- Peaceful Moments stamp set

- Boho Indigo stamp set

- Ornate layers die set

- Tasteful touches dies

Cardstock

- Thick Whisper White portrait card base standard size 14.9cm x 10.5cm or 5 1/4" x 4"

- 2 x Night of Navy cardstock cut at 14.4cm x 10cm or 5" x 3 3/4" (one for the front panel and the other for the card insert)

- Night of Navy cardstock large enough to cut out the ornate layers die as pictured

- 2 x Whisper White cardstock layer 13.9cm x 9.5cm or 4 3/4" 3 1/2"

Small piece of whisper white to cut out the sentiment piece from Tasteful Touches dies

- Small piece of night of Navy as the mat for the sentiment

Ink

Night of Navy

Pear Pizzazz

Adhesives

Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Mini glue dot

Dimensionals

Other

Paper flower embellishments (comes with the Boho Indigo Product medley)

Water painter

With the thick whisper white card base you want to score it in half per normal, but then you also want to score the front so that your card base looks like this:

Then we want to work on our front panel and die cut our pieces first.

* Die cut out the frame out from the Ornate Layers set using the Night of Navy piece

* Cut out a piece of Whisper White to layer over the Night of Navy frame - I used a scalloped frame that I already had as it fits perfectly. Alternatively you can just trace the inside of the ornate layer frame and cut that out.

* Die cut out the sentiment piece from Tasteful Layers in Whisper White

To do our stamping, using that small whisper white layer, I stamped the floral vase from the Boho Indigo Set in Night of navy and then the branches in Pear Pizzazz.

Then I adhere all the layers together and then embellished with the white paper flowers with mini glue dots.

I also stamped the Thank you sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set but you can use any sentiment you want. This just happens to be one of my favorites. This sentiment piece was then adhered to the card insert piece using dimensionals. I did end up framing this on a Night of Navy piece.

I also ended up coloring in the paper flower and used a mini glue dot to stick that to my sentiment. Again I layered the whisper white onto a Night of Navy layer so we had same border on the inside.

So here is the final card.

Thanks again for visiting and please don't forget to vote for me HERE. Until next time xoxo.
