12 weeks to Christmas using Sweet Stocking Designer Series Paper and Frosted Gingerbread stamps

Yikes - can you believe its less than 12 weeks to Christmas?! How fast time flies the older you get!

I thought it would be fun to start giving you guys ideas on some quick and easy to make Christmas cards so you could mass produce or make in a hurry.

This is the first of a 12 week series count down, so I hope it inspires you guys to start making those Christmas cards now so they can be ready to be sent off to spark joy.

Todays card is probably the easiest letting your designer series paper (DSP) do all the work for you.

Watch me make it on my Youtube channel HERE

What you will need:

* Standard size card base in thick Basic White - I made mine a landscape top folding card so it was 21cm x 14.9cm scored at 10.5cm or   8½" x 5½" scored at 4¼"

* Layer of your (DSP) 14.4cm x 10cm or 5¼"x 4". I used the Sweet Stocking DSP but you can use whatever you have on hand.

* Piece of basic white cut out using the 2nd largest scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched so Sweetly die set.

* Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set - I love this set as its so versatile and it reminds me of the gingerbread cookies I make every Christmas.

* Lastly you will need some gold thread from the Simply Elegant Trim and gems from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Firstly, I stamped the ornament stamp on my scalloped rectangle layer towards the righthand side in Cherry Cobbler. I picked this colour as its one of the colours from my DSP. So if you are using a different DSP - select one of the coordinating colours. Thats what I love about Stampin' Up ® - everything coordinates.

Next I from the same Frosted Ginger Stamp Set, I stamped "Wishing you a Merry Christmas" in Pear Pizazz. Thats our stamping done. How easy!

I then adhered this piece onto my DSP using dimensionals for some added interest and then used multipurpose tombow glue to adhere this onto my card base.

Lastly to embellish - I tied a bow with the gold thread and adhered this on with a mini glue dot.  I then added some of the red gems from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Viola this card came together so quickly that it is perfect for mass producing multiple cards.

As always I like to show you guys alternatives to give you more ideas.

Remember the Penguin Place DSP from Sale-a-bration?! Here's a sample using this free DSP.

Here are some more examples using some retired DSP that I had in my stash
