Plentiful Plants - TGIF challenge #tgifc329

Welcome back lovely crafters.

Its been a while since I have participated in a card challenge so was glad to participate in this one. I was at a lull in my creative ideas and have found using card sketches a great way to really get my brain creating again.

This is the layout for the card challenge

Indoor plants are quite trendy at the moment and so I had to get this product suite when it came out in our new annual catalogue and I cannot get enough of it!

Indoor plants are quite trendy at the moment and so I had to get this product suite when it came out in our new annual catalogue and I cannot get enough of it!

What you will need:

This card was actual quite easy to put together as I had all the pieces ready from a previous project.  Hint: whenever I die cut papers I usually die a few extra pieces on hand so its there ready for use when I need a quick card.

You will need basic white circle piece (either die cut or punched out), my piece was approx 6cm or 2 ½ inch.

My 3 leave plant was stamped using Evening Evergreen, the long beaded plant was in Garden Spruce and my pot was stamped in Cajun Craze. However you can use whatever colours you like.

I used a top folding card base in Evening Evergreen 10.5cm x 29.8cm (half an A4 cut portrait) scored 14.9cm (4"x 11" card based scored at 5 ½")

The DSP (designer series paper) is from the same product suite and is cut at 10cm x 11cm or 3 3/4" x 4 ¼ "

Again to save time I actually have a stamp case filled with precut and stamped sentiments. Most are these are from The Many Mates bundle or whenever I do white embossing on black cardstock I make multiples and keep these in a stamp case. If I'm going to make a mess I might as well make a few sentiments at a time.

To assemble the card, I arranged my plant on the circle  piece and adhered this on using some dimensionals.  I used my tombow glue for the pot stand. I then glued the circle piece onto my DSP piece and then the Evening Evergreen card base again using the Tombow glue.

I used some Gray Granite bakers twine to finish it off.

Enjoy and don't forget to check out the other cards created in this challenge here
